
Meet Billy Don Smith

Billy Don Smith has been a licensed professional counselor (LPC) since the specialty’s inception. He has worked in multiple public mental health systems since graduating from Midwestern State University. He grew up in Wichita Falls, attending the public school system. He is married and has a “blended family,” many of whom are also counselors.
Working at CCM as a semi-retired counselor has given him the opportunity “to meet clients where they are,” as he likes to say, no matter where that is in their life struggles and faith journey. As a believer in Christ, he has enjoyed the benefit of praying with people when requested. This has helped him benefit in his own faith journey. He especially enjoys working with families with issues related to:

- Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA)
- Senior Life Issues
- Major Mental Disorders (MMD)
- Schizophrenia diagnosis/issues
